You can not trade with each other while logging into the game on the same network (same house network) no matter if they are the same account or not (same network means same IP)

It depends on how long you quit playing!

If was before they added the Asphodel / Graveyard servers then I fear your old account is gone for good

If you see an Asphodel server in you list of playable servers then that is where your account is -- you would click on that server and transfer to a new server!!!
