Description

In the Barracks the boisterous youth is instructed to become keen fighters. Your soldiers know how to handle swords, spears and catapults and are also able to lead the mightiest war machines safely over the field.

• Higher level Barracks can train units faster.

Expansion Details

The time (in seconds) it takes to upgrade to the next level is determined by the following formula:

Level 1 does not follow this formula, as its build time was shortened by 12 minutes 12 seconds (732s)
when it was added to the in-game tutorial.

The accumulative time (in seconds) it takes to upgrade up to the next level is determined by the following formula: ${ \text{Accumulative building time (seconds)} = \left \lbrack 25,200 \times \left (\ 1.1 ^ \text{Level} -\ 1\ \right )\ - 1,728 \times \text{Level}\ \right \rbrack -\ 732}$

Level 1 does follow this formula.

• Each type of land Unit has a Minimum Barracks Level  : only Barracks which have been upgraded to that level or higher can train that unit. Upgrades above the minimum barracks level for that unit will reduce training time for that unit.

Notes

• On December 15, 2015 in Patch 0.7.0;   Levels 50 – 54 were removed from the Barracks.

  These levels were not possible because their resource requirements exceeding the towns storage capacity even if you used the premium feature Steam Lifter to double your storage.
