Description[]

The dockyard is the pride of any trading empire: the freighters made here reach the remotest corners of the known world and return with large quantities of valuable goods. The sum of your dockyards' levels equals the maximum number of freighters you can build.

Docyard Information[]

This building was added with Patch 8.10.0. Each building level adds 1 extra position on the freighters fleet. The visible information is:

the number of freighters that the player has
the number of freighters that the player can have in his fleet
the dockyard level in each city
the availability of free places in the freighters fleet.

Each new free place in the fleet can be filled by purchasing a new freighter with gold . The capacity of each freighter is 50,000, 100 times more than the normal merchant ships. In contrary, the speed of the freighter is 20 times less than the normal merchant ship. You can use the freighters from the Trading port.

Researches that reduce resource requirements for buildings.

Pulley ( Economy ) reduces the required amount of resources by 2%. Geometry ( Economy ) reduces the required amount of resources by 4% (6% total). Spirit Level ( Economy ) reduces the required amount of resources by 8% (14% total).

Buildings that reduce the demand for resources.

These reductions are separate and in addition to the researches, for up to an additional 50% reduction.
providing a minimum of 64% reduction in resources.

An Architect's Office reduces requirements by 1% for every level built. (up to 50%)
A Carpenter reduces requirements by 1% for every level built. (up to 50%)
A Firework Test Area reduces requirements by 1% for every level built. (up to 50%)
An Optician reduces requirements by 1% for every level built. (up to 50%)
A Wine Press reduces requirements by 1% for every level built. (up to 50%)

Buildings that increase the production of resources.

A Alchemist's Tower increases the production of by 2% for every level built. (up to 122%)
A Forester's House increases the production of by 2% for every level built. (up to 122%)
A Glassblower increases the production of by 2% for every level built. (up to 122%)
A Stonemason increases the production of by 2% for every level built. (up to 122%)
A Winegrower increases the production of by 2% for every level built. (up to 122%)
A Gods' Shrine increases the production of all resources ( , ), including for up to 85%.

The Cinetheater increases the production of and/or 1 by 20% and/or 50
