Description

Valuable sea charts are archived in the Sea Chart Archive. This allows our sailors to navigate the seven seas even faster. The higher the building level and the more distant the destination, the greater the time saving for the journey there and back.

Sea Chart Archive Information

Reduces the travel time for ships that start their journey, in a town the has a Sea Chart Archive built, when traveling great distances.

  1. The top line of the display screen shows the reduction time for 5 † island hops away
    1. How long it currently takes to travel 5 † islands away
    2. How much of a reduction you will gain with the next level to travel 5 † islands away
    3. How much of a reduction you have gained gain with the current level to travel 5 † islands away
  2. The middle line of the display screen shows the reduction time for 20 † island hops away
    1. How long it currently takes to travel 20 † islands away
    2. How much of a reduction you will gain with the next level to travel 20 † islands away
    3. How much of a reduction you have gained gain with the current level to travel 20 † islands away
  3. The bottom line of the display screen shows the reduction time for 50 † island hops away
    1. How long it currently takes to travel 50 † islands away

† - this is the least amount of reduction, as you travel further away then the greater the amount of the reduction, at the current building level

Researches that reduce resource requirements for buildings.
  1. Pulley ( Economy ) reduces the required amount of resources by 2%.
  2. Geometry ( Economy ) reduces the required amount of resources by 4%   (6% total).
  3. Spirit Level ( Economy ) reduces the required amount of resources by 8%   (14% total).
 
Buildings that reduce the demand for resources.
These reductions are separate and in addition to the researches, for up to an additional 50% reduction.
providing a minimum of 64% reduction in resources.
  1. An Architect's Office reduces An Architect's Office reduces marble requirements by 1% for every level built.   (up to 50%)
  2. A Carpenter reduces A Carpenter reduces wood requirements by 1% for every level built.   (up to 50%)
  3. A Firework Test Area reduces A Firework Test Area reduces sulphur/sulfur requirements by 1% for every level built.   (up to 50%)
  4. An Optician reduces An Optician reduces crystal glass requirements by 1% for every level built.   (up to 50%)
  5. A Wine Press reduces A Wine Press reduces wine requirements by 1% for every level built.   (up to 50%)
 
Buildings that increase the production of resources.
  1. A Alchemist's Tower increases the production of A Alchemist's Tower increases the production of sulphur/sulfur by 2% for every level built.   (up to 122%)
  2. A Forester's House increases the production of A Forester's House increases the production of wood by 2% for every level built.   (up to 122%)
  3. A Glassblower increases the production of A Glassblower increases the production of crystal glass by 2% for every level built.   (up to 122%)

  6. A Gods' Shrine increases the production of all resources ( Wood, Luxury resources), including  Gold for up to 85%.
  1. The Cinetheater increases the production of increases the production of wood by 20% for 12 hours;   Repeatable and/or 1 increases the production of one (1) luxury resource by 20% for 12 hours;   Repeatable by 20% and/or 50 50 favor, repeatable after 8:00 a.m
  2. The Helios Tower increases the production of increases the production of wood and luxury resources and increases the production of wood and luxury resources by 10% while the tower is illuminated.   (requires requires ambrosia)
 
Ikariam Plus options that increase the production of resources
These increases are separate and in addition to the production buildings, for 7 day increments,
making the maximum possible increase in production 172%.
  1. Steam Crystal Drill increases your increases your crystal glass production by an additional 20%, for 5 for 5 ambrosia
  2. Steam Hammer increases your increases your marble production by an additional 20%, for 8 for 8 ambrosia
  3. Steam Paddle Wheel increases your increases your sulphur/sulfur production by an additional 20%, for 3 for 3 ambrosia
  4. Steam Saw increases your increases your wood production by an additional 20%, for 10 for 10 ambrosia
  5. Steam Wine Press increases your increases your wine production by an additional 20%, for 3 for 3 ambrosia
Reminder
  1. You can have up to 5 warehouses and up to 3 dumps in each city
  2. Each warehouse and each dump increases it's capacity by level exponentially
  3. The total capacity of 5 warehouses and 3 dumps goes up to 4,721,922,628.
Due to the large number of templates used to display the information on this building, we are breaking this building's expansion levels down into groups of 5, instead of the normal grouping of 10.
