Templates to aid in article management. The most commonly used are:

Articles for deletion

Articles for merging with / from

{{MergeTo}} and {{MergeFrom}}

  • Tag an article to be merged into another article. It will add the article to Category:Merge topics.
  • To specify what article the merge should be with, use the page name like so {{MergeTo|Destination}}.
  • To specify a article, that is the receiver of a merge, you can use {{MergeFrom|Original article}}.

Disambiguation articles

  • If you have several articles that have similar or might want to have identical names, you may wish to create a "Disambiguation" page at the main article name, with the articles taking an extra phrase in brackets afterwards. For example:
Wine Cellars ← disambiguation page, with links to:
Wine Cellars (building)
Wine Cellars (research)

  • When a page has little or no useful information, then it is likely a stub. This template will include them in Category:Article stubs, and is used to list which articles need expanding.
