In Greek mythology WP, Oceanus (/oʊˈsiːənəs/ oh-SEE-ə-nəs; Ancient Greek WP: Ὠκεανός [ɔːke.anós], also Ὠγενός [ɔːɡenós], Ὤγενος [ɔ̌ːɡenos], or Ὠγήν [ɔːɡɛ̌ːn]) was a Titan WP son of Uranus and Gaia, the husband of his sister the Titan Tethys, and the father of the river gods WP and the Oceanids WP, as well as being the great river which encircled the entire world.
