The option to invite friends
Inviting friends to Ikariam is a feature launched with Patch 0.3.3, which enables you to send an invitation link to your friends. The Capital of everyone who registers into Ikariam using this link, will be placed on an island as near as possible (or even the same with) the Capital of his inviter, and in the same game server. This feature enables real-life friends to easily support each other, e.g. by offering military help and exchanging resources.
Furthermore, the sender of the invite also receives an additional ship for free.

- There is no timetable nor plans to fix this feature any time soon!
How to invite your friends
- Click "Options" from the top end of the screen.
- Click the "Invite friends" button on the left.
- Copy the link that is shown and send it to everyone you want to invite. (e.g. by e-mail or IM)
- Tell your friends to click this link and register to Ikariam via it.
- You will notice that the Capital towns of your friends have been created on an island somewhere near you.
- This Feature was broken with the addition of the Lobby!
- There is no timetable nor plans to fix this feature any time soon!
