Dear players,
Version 0.5.2 is going live on the test server today. It's a new version that is fully compatible with tablets and uses special interface and navigational improvements typical to these deivces. This version is compatible with all iPad types and should be working fine with most of the Android tablets.
Important! If you would like to report a bug for the tablet version, we definitely need the following informations: - What tablet are you using (exact reference)? - Which operating system version? - Which browser and which browser version?
During the next weeks, we will launch an Ikariam-App, but only for iPad-Users. There is no release date set yet, but it will happen this year.
You'll also find new tags for your ingame alliance boards in this version, these have been coded as part of our LEAN project.
For all of you asking if there is also going to be a smartphone application for Ikariam, the answer is yes. This App will be available for iPhones and Android devices and is currently being developped. Of course we are able to hand out first impressions of this smartphone app as well:
ETA for this smartphone application currently is the first half of 2013, we will keep you informed about the development progress.
