Introduction[]
Scripting is the ability to enhance the user experience, and Gameforge have a section in their Terms and Conditions relating to it.
This article describes some of the scripts and extension that allows you to customize the way web-pages look and functions:
- GreaseMonkey, which is a Firefox extension, found at userscripts-mirror.org.
- TamperMonkey, which is a Chrome extension, found at the Chrome Webstore.
This extension will allow you to run some but not all of the scripts made for FireFox as well.
- Warning: Use scripts at your own risk. You could get yourself banned!
Game rules[]

Scripting is the ability to enhance the user experience. Each server has a section in their Rules section relating to it. To see the full set of rules click one of the following server links: US and EN. Here is the brief quote from the specific section as it relates to scripting:
“VII. Scripting
- Using a program as interface between the player and his game is prohibited. Any other form of automatically generated information generated for a group of players advantage with malicious intentions is forbidden as well.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Bots
- Macros
- Automated island databases”
The Test Server does not monitor enforce any rules and regulations, thus you can use any and all scripts there without fear of a ban.
