Wood is the building material of the game, meaning it is the most fundamental resource of a town. It can be harvested since the beginning and is used in the expansion of all buildings and in the production of all military units and ships. Wood, harvested at the Saw Mill, is the only resource available to all islands. Due to its importance, no Wonder boosts the wood production.
Usage

- Wood must be donated by the cities of an island in order to upgrade that island´s resource deposit and to increase the maximum number of workers allowed at the sawmill.
